We had the good fortune of working with Bay Area designer Jiun Ho on this three story newly constructed headquarters for the leading exporter of farm-fresh produce The Fresh Connection. Nested into the hillside of Lafayette, an office building was constructed using advanced heating and cooling technologies and beautifully designed millwork and furniture components.
Both floors of the offices are divided in half by a panel wall with intermittent doors distinguishing the private offices from the communal work space. MWDB provided the millwork cabinetry for the offices as well as the five work stations, the engineering of the panel wall system and its components, kitchen and kitchenettes, and wall paneling. We also had the opportunity to create the blackened ash conference table, mango wood dining table, and the reclaimed redwood banquette for the dining nook.
